Overview
The Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance & Accounting department by performing a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting and plays a pivotal role in sustaining and promoting the efficient operation of the Finance & Accounting department at WeSolveCX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors or suppliers.
- Execute payments to vendors or suppliers based on approved invoices.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, including setting up new vendors, updating vendor information, and resolving vendor inquiries.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure the accuracy and integrity of AP transactions.
- Record, verify, and post daily financial transactions to the general ledger.
- Uphold the accuracy of all entries, swiftly addressing and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Execute monthly reconciliations highlighting any anomalies.
- Generate and present detailed financial reports as required.
- Provide robust support during internal and external audits, supplying necessary records, documents, and clarifications.
- Engage in special projects or tailored financial analyses as directed by the Financial Controller or senior leadership.
- Analyse financial statements and other related documents to aid management in the decision-making process.
- Develop and maintain financial models, spreadsheets, and other financial tools to support ad hoc analytics and offline allocations modelling
Job Requirements
- An Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance capacity.
- Proficiency with widely used accounting software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Acute analytical acumen paired with unwavering attention to detail.
- Capacity to juggle multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Stellar communication skills, both in written and verbal forms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

The officer maintains external relations encompassing vendors and suppliers, addressing billing and payment matters, and ensuring harmonious financial collaborations. They manage customer invoicing and payment inquiries, collaborating closely with the sales team for seamless financial transactions.
